After graduating from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1982, Cawood K. Bebout
worked as a staff law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit for 2 years. Afterward, he became an associate at a St. Louis law firm in 1984, working his way to partner in the firm's litigation section by 1991.
In 2004, Cawood began practicing law in Mount Vernon, where he provides legal services focusing on consumer bankruptcy and family-based immigration.
is licensed to practice law in Washington and also holds inactive licenses in Missouri, Illinois, and California. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association.
